Montreux Vieux ( fr. Montreux-Vieux ) is a commune in the northeast of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , Altkirch district , canton of Mazvo [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Dunmari ( Altkirsh County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 550 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years), 401 were economically active , 149 inactive (activity indicator 72.9%, in 1999 - 65.8%). Of the 401 active able-bodied residents, 362 people worked (212 men and 150 women), 39 were unemployed (19 men and 20 women). Among 149 able-bodied inactive citizens, 43 were pupils or students , 56 - pensioners , and another 50 - were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
