History
The status and boundaries of a rural settlement are established by the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated June 15, 2004 No. 60-З “On the Allocation of Municipalities - Cities, Workers' Villages and Village Councils of the Nizhny Novgorod Region with the Status of Urban, Rural Settlement” [3] .
By the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated August 28, 2009 No. 154-З [4], the rural settlements of the Krasnovatrasky Village Council and the Novousadsky Village Council are merged into the rural settlement of the Novousadsky Village Council (the administrative center is the village of New Usad ). By the law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region dated December 31, 2009 No. 265-З [5] the Novousadsky Village Council was renamed the Krasnovatrasky Village Council with the change of the administrative center to the village of Krasny Vatras .
