Agonyclites

Γόνυ - “ knee ” + other Greek κλίσις - “ bending, bending ”; Latin agonyclitae ; senior glory. Kolѣnonєprѣclonni ) i ) - heretics described by John Damaskin in the book “About a hundred heresies in short,” 91 heresy. What number of these heretics and how long they existed, John Damaskin does not report, he only says that their heretic was that during any prayers the agoniklites do not want to bow their knees, that is, they do not bow down to the ground, but always standing on straight lines feet, perform prayers.
