Now the only Roihupelto depot is operating, which has been operating since the launch of the metro, there is a depot between the Ityakeskus and Siilitiye stations. By 2020, another Sammalvuoren depot will open together with the second section of the Helsinki Metro in Espoo (Länsimetro), there will be a depot between the constructed stations of Kivenlahti and Espoonlahti in the city of Espoo.
