Mitsak ( French Mitzach ) is a commune in the north-east of France in the Grand Est region [1] (former Alsace - Champagne - Ardenne - Lorraine ), department of the Upper Rhine , district of Tan - Gebwiller , canton of Serne [2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Saint-Amarén ( Tan County).

Economics
In 2010, out of 273 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 209 were economically active , 64 inactive (activity indicator 76.6%, in 1999 - 73.9%). Of the 209 active able-bodied residents, 191 people worked (103 men and 88 women), 18 were unemployed (8 men and 10 women). Among 64 able-bodied inactive citizens, 19 were pupils or students , 32 - pensioners , and another 13 - were inactive due to other reasons [8] [9] .
