Career

Born in the village named after Stepan Razin ( Baku district, now the village of Bakikhanov ), he started playing football in the children's team at the Lenin Komsomol stadium. His trainers were V. K. Karmayev and I. A. Sherekhov.

Since 1955, he played in the teams of the " Neftyanik " system.

Career in the teams of masters began in 1959 in the " Oilman ", speaking at the time in group B. The Baku team spent the 1959 Championship unevenly and finished the season at the bottom of the standings. But after the reorganization of the national championship in 1960, together with his club began to play in the big leagues .
