Tasks

Designed to perform hydrographic and pilot works in coastal areas, such as: [2]

  • Water route exploration
  • Hydrographic measurements
  • Bottom topography
  • Pilotage
  • Installation, removal and maintenance of floating equipment for navigation equipment
  • Submarine leader in basing points.

Boats can also deliver scientific groups and special equipment up to 15 tons to the unequipped coast.

Design

Large hydrographic boat of project 19920 “Cormorant” is a single-deck boat with a continuous main deck, an elongated tank, a developed forecastle, a straight bow and transom stern. The sides of the boat are equipped with hull stiffeners - bulk bars (rifts). They are installed along the deck and in places of work with buoys and their anchors to reduce the likelihood of breakdown of the hull. For loading and unloading, there is a Dreggen crane unit with a Y-shaped boom manufactured by Obukhovskoye CJSC. The crane has a maximum lifting capacity of 3.5 tons and is designed for two hooks .

The power plant of the boat consists of two diesel-gear units based on Deutz BF6M 1015MS diesel engines with a capacity of 337 hp each. (2 x 232kW). To start the power plant, two air compressors located in MO and pneumostarter of the Italian company "Gali". Two provide electricity DG DGA-80-VA2-MPS based on the Deutz BF4M 1013MC diesel engine and the Stamford UCM274E generator with a power of 75 kW (400V / 50Hz). Separators - Alfa Laval MIB-303. Electrical equipment (secondary switchboards, main switchboard, integrated control system for technical means, charge-discharge switchboard) is made at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Krylov State Scientific Center”. The propellers are two Finnøy Gear & Propeller AS adjustable-pitch propellers in rotary nozzles with a shaft, G23F gearbox and a DAU system, and one bow thruster. The control system, VDG, APS and protection of the propulsion system from LLC Marine Propulsive Systems. The average daily diesel fuel consumption is 2770 kg, 8.3 kg of lubricating oil. Full speed up to 11.5 knots . Cruising range reaches 1000 nautical miles . Seaworthiness up to 5 points. The crew consists of 11 people (the command is military, and the crew is civilian), it is possible to accommodate an additional scientific or special group of four people. The supply of drinking water on board is 1.125 tons. The boat can take up to 15 tons of various cargo. For various operations, boats are equipped with small dies .

Construction History

Boats of the Baklan hydrographic service are being built at two shipyards - Vympel Shipbuilding Plant JSC in Rybinsk under design number 19920 and the Shipyard them. October Revolution ”in the city of Blagoveshchensk under project number 19920B. An export modification - 19920E was also developed.

The first boat BGK-2090 (plant number 01841) was laid down on June 27, 2004, launched on May 15, 2008 in a high degree of readiness. On December 27, 2008, the acceptance certificate was signed and the captain of the boat, Grigory Nikolayevich Vasiliev, took the boat from the factory to its permanent base in the city of Astrakhan, to the base of hydrographic vessels of the Caspian military flotilla. BGK-2090 was actively “running in” for another three years after commissioning, on the basis of which the design bureau was adjusted.

Boats built at the shipyard them. The October Revolution was being completed at the Vladivostok branch of the Khabarovsk Shipyard (VFHSZ) in the city of Vladivostok.
