Andrei Butrik ( Latvian: Andrejs Butriks ; December 20, 1982 , Riga ) - Latvian footballer , striker . He played for the national team of Latvia . After the end of his playing career, he became the sports director of the Ventspils football club.

Biography
Club career
A pupil of the Avots football club, also played in his youth for the second Skonto squad in the first league of Latvia . In 2000, he entered the top 3 first league scorers dispute with 22 goals scored.
In 2001, he joined the Ventspils team, for which he played for the next ten years. As part of his club, he played more than 200 matches in the championships of Latvia and scored 65 goals. Three-time champion of Latvia (2006, 2007, 2008), repeated silver (2001, 2002, 2009, 2010) and bronze (2003, 2004, 2005) championship medalists. Four- time Latvian Cup winner (2003, 2004, 2005, 2007).
In the last years of his career, he tried unsuccessfully to play in foreign clubs. In January 2008, he was watched in Blackpool English [1] , and in the summer of 2009 - in the Romanian Rapida [2] . In the spring of 2010, he acted on loan for the Romanian Chahleul , but did not play a single match, and in the 2011/12 season in the Greek Anagennisi Epanomi from the second division he played only one game. Also, at the end of his career, he played for the outsider of the Latvian Premier League Jurmala-VV .
Since 2012, he has been working as the sports director of the Ventspils club [3] [4] .
Team Career
He played for the youth and youth teams of Latvia.
As part of the Latvian national team, he made his debut on October 17, 2007 in the European Championship qualifying match against Denmark , replacing Vita Rimkus in the 63rd minute [5] . In total, in 2007-2008 he played 4 matches.
