Biography

Lived in Kiev. Born on September 1, 1941 in the village of Brusilov, Zhytomyr Region. He graduated from 7 classes of Brusilovsky secondary school No. 1 and at the age of 14 he worked as a laborer at a brick factory. At age 18, he graduated from the courses of drivers and was drafted into the ranks of the Soviet Army. After finishing his service in the army, he began working in the bus depot No. 1 as a bus driver. Later he moved to the taxi park number 1 in Kiev - a taxi driver. From 1988 to retirement, he worked at Kyivzvilistrans in international transport. After retirement he worked in the protection of the garage cooperative "Prolisok".

On the Maidan was injured on February 18. He had a closed head injury and a depressed fracture of the skull bones. All this time he was in a coma, but before his death he came out of a coma.

Farewell to the dead was held in the St. Michael's Cathedral [1] .

  • The title of Hero of Ukraine with the award of the Golden Star Order (November 21, 2014, posthumously) for civil courage, patriotism, heroic upholding of the constitutional principles of democracy, human rights and freedoms, selfless service to the Ukrainian people, discovered during the Revolution of Dignity [2]
  • Medal "For Sacrifice and Love for Ukraine" ( UOC-KP , June 2015) (posthumously) [3]
