Originally called differently - Yhdyskatu . Such a toponym appeared in the 1920s and is translated from Finnish as Connecting Street .
After the war, the street was given a Russian ideological version of the Finnish name - Unity Street [1] .
Currently, the street is an almost impassable primer [2] . There is no numbering on it.
