Kazakh-Belarusian relations - bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus . Established September 16, 1992. Both states are members of the CIS , the Eurasian Economic Union and many other international organizations.

History
The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Minsk was opened on January 9, 1993. The Belarusian Embassy in Astana has been operating since July 13, 1997.
Since January 2012, Ergali Bulegenov has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus [1] . Since September 2013, Anatoly Nichkasov has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan [2] .
Belarus and Kazakhstan are actively cooperating in the international arena, including within the framework of the UN , OSCE , CSTO .
In 2014, trade between the countries amounted to 835.1 million US dollars. In 2015, it decreased to 403.4 million US dollars [3] .
Belarusians in Kazakhstan
95 thousand Belarusians live in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan . In Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan-Belarus Center for Scientific and Technical Cooperation operates, regularly organizing various cultural events. Almost every region of the Republic of Kazakhstan has Belarusian cultural centers [4] .
