Biography

Malgozhata Hoynatskaya was born on February 17, 1983 in the city of Gorzów Wielkopolski of the Lubusz Voivodeship . She began to actively engage in rowing from early childhood, was trained in Poznan at the local sports club KS Posnania.

She achieved her first major success at the adult international level in 2005, when she joined the main squad of the Polish national team and attended the home European Championship in Poznan, where she brought the bronze dignity award won in the classification of four-seater kayaks at a distance of 500 meters. Two years later, she performed at the European Championships in the Spanish Pontevedra, where she received silver in doubles at a thousand meters and bronze in fours at five hundred meters. In addition, this season she achieved the same results at the world championship in German Duisburg, again took silver and bronze in the same disciplines.

In 2008, Khoinatskaya won a silver medal at the European Championships in Milan, taking second place in the four-kilometer kayak race. Thanks to a series of successful performances, she won the right to defend the country's honor at the Beijing Summer Olympics - she started here alone at a distance of 500 meters, but managed to reach only the semi-finals, where she finished eighth.

After the Beijing Olympics, Khoinatskaya remained in the main composition of the rowing team of Poland and continued to take part in major international regattas. So, in 2005, she won a bronze medal at the European Championships in German Brandenburg, in the kilometer fours program, and also won the world championships in the Canadian Dartmouth, in the kilometer doubles program. The last time she showed any significant result in the international arena in the 2012 season, when, speaking under the name of her husband Vardovich, she won the European championship in Zagreb four thousand meters ahead of all her rivals. I tried to qualify for the Olympic Games in London , but could not do it because of too high competition. Soon after, she decided to end the career of a professional athlete, losing her place in the national team to young Polish rowers.
