The village is located on the left bank of the Akhuryan River , 21 km west of 4 km from the village of Tlik and from the city of Talin on the Yerevan - Gyumri highway , 71 km from the marz (region) - Ashtarak [1] . The population is engaged in cattle breeding and fruit growing. To the west of the village in the gorge there is a church called by the local population “Karmir Vank” (Red Church).
