Biography
He graduated with honors from the Kharkov Veterinary Institute (1931) and his graduate school at the Department of Microbiology and Epizootology. In 1939 he defended his candidate’s dissertation, in 1947 - his doctoral dissertation (theme “Leptospirosis of animals (infectious jaundice).” Professor (1948). Member of the CPSU (b) since 1939. Member of the Great Patriotic War since July 1941. He was twice seriously injured .
Head Department of Microbiology, Moscow Technological Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry (now - Moscow State University of Food Production ). He also worked at the Research Institute of Fur Breeding and Rabbit Farming.
In 1940, for the first time in the USSR, he made a vaccine for the prevention of leptospirosis in fur animals and domestic animals.
