Estonia Boulevard ( Est. Estonia puiestee ) is one of the central streets of Tallinn , going from Freedom Square to Antsa Laikmaa Street , where it crosses into Gonsiori Street. The boulevard serves as one of the borders of Tammsaare Park .

History
The street got its modern name in 1922 [1] [2] , when Gogolevsky Boulevard became Estonia Boulevard during the campaign to rename Tallinn streets.
In 1904, a plot of land adjacent to the boulevard was allocated for the construction of the Revel Estonian Theater and People's House theater building (now the National Opera Estonia ) [3] .

6 - the former Tallinn Real School (1881–1884, architect M. Heppener, engineer K. Jacobi). Monument to teachers and students who fell in the war of liberation of 1918-1920 . [5]
8 - Tallinn Central Library. [6] Since 1957, the branch of the Historical Museum of the ESSR - the “Worker Basement” was located in this building (from 1921 to 1924 the legal workers' organizations occupied the basement and premises of the third floor) [7]

11 - Bank of Estonia (formerly the Eslyland Noble Credit Society, architect A. Reinberg , 1902-1904).
D. 13 - Bank building (1908, architect A. Yaron). The Great Hall (Independence Hall) is decorated with a painting by the Russian symbolist Nikolai Kalmakov (created in 1921) "February 24, 1918", depicting members of the Rescue Committee - Konstantin Päts , Jüri Wilms and Konstantin Konik .
