Arkankergen is an ancient fortress located in the East Kazakhstan region between the Tarbagatai mountains and the Saksan River. The length of the stone fortress is 10 km and a width of 3 m. The local population calls this fortress Kergen tas or Arkankergen. The construction time is unknown.
