Sattoy ( Chech. Sattoy) is a Chechen taip belonging to the tukhum shatoy [1] . Historically settled in the Shatoi district of Chechnya . The family village of Satti . A Chechen researcher, local historian , teacher and people's poet A.S.Suleymanov , recorded representatives of the taip in the village. Chatoy [2] . Sattin-Tevzana received the name from Taipa Satta. Representatives of this taip live in the Sattin-Tevzana farm, who also migrated from the village of Satti [3] .

In the genealogy of the modern taipa satta, Tushshep appears. So, for example, one of the taipa eponyms was called [4] .
Sattoy Tower
Next to the Taip tribal village is a signal and combat tower. It was built in the XIII - XIV centuries and was first called the Gochkala watchtower, later it was called Sattoy. The tower was destroyed several times, in the early 1990s it was completely rebuilt. Since then, during two military campaigns in Chechnya, the Sattoy Tower has been destroyed by a third. In 2010 , it was restored again [5] [6] .
