Central Military Revolutionary Committee of Donbass

The creation of the Revolutionary Committee Center was first raised at a meeting of representatives of the Bakhmutsky and Gorlovsko-Shcherbinovsky Bolshevik Committee on November 16 (3), 1917 in Nikitovka in connection with the arrival of the emissary of the Council of People's Commissars G. I. Petrovsky . ^[2] G. I. Petrovsky, Gruzman, Kharchenko, Kazimirchuk, Ostrogorsky, Dubovaya, Stozhok and others attended the meeting. ^[2] A bureau of three Gruzman, Kazimerchuk, Kharchenko was allocated to organize the congress. Only Gruzman was involved in organizing the congress.

I Congress of the Donetsk Basin Revolutionary Committees

On December 4 (17), 1917, at the initiative of the district committee of Bolsheviks Nikitovka, an all-Donetsk congress of representatives of 15 revolutionary committees of Donbass, Gorlovo-Shcherbinovsky was held. Yuzovsky, Makeevsky, Druzhkovsky Konstantinovskog, Kramatorsk, Khanzhenkovo-Khartsyzsky, Chistyakovsky, Lugansk, Maryevsky and Ilovaisky. which were outlined measures to fight against Ataman Kaledin and the Central Rada. At the congress, the Central Bureau of the Military Revolutionary Committees of Donbass was elected. ^[3]

It consisted of 5 people: Sh. A. Gruzman, D. I. Ponomarev, S. A. Khilkov, T. I. Kharechko, and S. I. Syrtsov, who was soon replaced by E. A. Trifonov, commissar of the Petrograd Red detachment Guard ^{[4] [5]} .

Two weeks later, comrades from the St. Petersburg detachment of the Red Guards, Finogenov, Mikhailov and Ostashenkov, were brought to military work.

The circle of the bureau's activities has been expanding every day, including political, economic and military issues. Since at that time communication with Kharkiv was hampered by the occupation of a number of hub stations by units of the UPR Army, the Revolutionary Bureau had to fulfill the functions of a regional organization. ^[6]

On January 5, 1918, the Central Headquarters of the Red Guard of the Donetsk Basin was created, which was headed by Ponomarev, Demyan Ivanovich . ^[7]

Donbass-Don operation

On January 18, 1918, by the decision of the Central Bureau of the Military Revolutionary Committees of Donbass, the Central Headquarters of the Red Guard of Donbass was formed from representatives of Petrograd, Moscow and local Red Guard units. ^[eight]

On January 28, 1918, the conference of the revolutionary committees and the Soviets of Donbass reorganized the Bureau into the Central Military Revolutionary Committee of Donbass. ^[9] , by which the occupation of Ukraine by the troops of Germany and the UPR acted for the moint.

On April 1, 1918, the Central Revolutionary Committee of the Donbass issued an order to all the Revolutionary Committee to begin evacuating property in connection with the onset of the Austro-German forces.

Recovery

In December 1918, the Revolutionary Committee was restored by the Bolsheviks with the aim of seizing power in the conditions of the evacuation of the German troops and the antigetman uprising. For some time the revkom worked underground, after the Bolsheviks seized the Donbass and they created the Donetsk gubernia on February 5, he worked legally for art. Pit.
