Biography
Andriy Kutsmus started volleyball at the Rivne Regional Sports School under the guidance of coach Vladimir Alekseyevich Klamar. In the ninth grade he moved to Lutsk , since 2002 he has played for Lucesk-Podshipnik in the highest league of the Ukrainian Championship [1] . He spent the 2004/05 season in Zhytomyr Dynamo, but because of the disbandment of the team for financial reasons, he moved to Uzhgorod Zakarpattya, with whom he made his way to the Super League in two years and debuted in the strongest division of the Ukrainian championship in 2007/08 [2] .
Until 2008, Andrei Kutsmus combined classic volleyball with beach , played at international tournaments together with Alexei Klamar. In June 2008, he became the winner of the European Students' Championship in Turkey [3] , and in July - the silver winner of the student world championship in Hamburg [4] .
In the same year, Andrei Kutsmus continued his career in Cherkasy Impexagro-Sport, from which he received a call to the national team [5] and an invitation to the leading club of the country - Kharkov Lokomotiv . May 28, 2009 held the first official match for the Ukrainian team in the second round of the qualifying tournament for the 2010 World Cup in Liberec . In July 2009, he performed at the Universiade in Belgrade [6] . A month later, during a friendly match between Kharkiv Lokomotiv and Belgorod Lokomotiv-Belogorie, he was seriously injured. After an operation in Germany and a long recovery, Kutzmus returned to service in February of the following year [7] [8] . As part of the Kharkov "Locomotive" Andrew twice became the champion of Ukraine.
The Russian period of Andrei Kutsmus’s career began with the teams of the highest league “A” - MSTU and “Ural” -2 . Being the third legionary in the Ufa club, Kutzmus did not have the opportunity to play for the main team in the Super League, but he participated in two Challenge Cup games [9] . In the season 2013/14 he played for Grozny , after his graduation he returned to Ufa, and from the second half of the season 2014/15, he coped with a knee injury and became one of the players of the starting lineup of Ural.
In April 2016, Andrei Kutsmus signed a one-month contract with the Lebanese club Zahra from Tripoli [10] , but spent only one match for this team, after which he returned to Ural [11] .
In the season 2017/18, he played for the Iranian club “Matin” ( Varamin ) [12] . In July 2018, he signed a contract with the French "Poitiers" [13] .
