A. falciformis viviparous. With feces of the final host, the larvae are excreted from the body. The development of the infectious third larva occurs in various species of snails ( Arion hortensis , Cepaea hortensis , Cepaea nemoralis , Deroceras agreste , Succinea putris , Euomphalia strigella , Fruticola hispida ). Infection occurs through the consumption of infected snails. The prepotent period is 21 days [1] .
