Biography
From 1939, he worked at the experimental design bureau for aviation instrumentation, created at plant No. 230, OKB-230, which was then renamed OKB-2. After relocation from the city of Ramenskoye to Moscow in 1947, the OKB-2 was named OKB-12.
Deputy chief designer of the OKB-2, since 1947, chief designer of the OKB-12.
In 1964, the OKB-12 MAP was merged with the Scientific Research Institute-25 with the formation of a single organization, the Scientific-Research Institute of Instrument Engineering (GosNIIP). A. S. Abramov was appointed its chief and chief designer. He worked in this position until 1992.
Professor, since 1987 the head of the branch of the department 301 of the Moscow Aviation Institute .
Awards
The Stalin Prize of 1949 - for the development of devices for remote and automatic control of plant “A” of combine No. 817 (engaged in the production of plutonium for the Soviet atomic project) [1] .
Hero of Socialist Labor (1961).
Winner of the Lenin Prize .
He was awarded three Orders of Lenin (the first in 1949), Orders of the October Revolution, the Red Banner of Labor, and medals.
Memory
May 6, 2015 in Moscow, on the building of the State Research Institute for Instrument Engineering (GosNIIP), Abramov A.S., a memorial plaque was opened [2] [3] .
