Joanis Archilagos ( Spanish: Joahnys Argilagos Perez ; born January 11, 1997 , Camaguey , Cuba ) is a Cuban professional boxer performing in the 2nd lightest weight category under 52 kg. Two-time world champion (2015, 2017), multiple winner of the Pan American Games and national championship. He made his debut in professional boxing in 2019.

Biography
Born in 1997.
In July 2015, for the first time he became the silver medalist of the Pan American Games , held in Toronto in the weight category up to 49 kg, in the final losing to the Mexican boxer Joselito Velazquez. And then in October at the 2015 World Boxing Championship, he became the world champion in the weight category up to 49 kg, defeating the Russian boxer Vasily Egorov in the final. In early spring 2018, he fled to the USA, went for a walk and did not return to the hotel in Aguascalientes (Mexico) ), where the national team held training camps. Thus, he preferred to become another fugitive from the “Island of Freedom”. He made his debut in professional boxing in May 2019.
