Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute

It was founded in April 12, 1972 in accordance with Resolution No. 220 of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Kazakhstan and the Council of Ministers of the Kazakh SSR.

Since 1976, the memorial and pedagogical museum of Y. Altynsarin was opened (now the Museum of I. Altynsarin).

In October 1977, the Institute was named after I. Altynsarin .

At the moment, the full name of the educational institution is the Republican State Enterprise on the right of economic management “Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin ”of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the abbreviated name is“ ArkGPI ”.

Currently, the Institute includes: Faculty of History and Arts, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Informatization, Faculty of Pedagogy and Philology, Faculty of Distance Learning.

Centers and departments function: a training center, an information technology center, an editorial and publishing department, an information and library complex, a multimedia department for the educational process, a museum of the history of education, a museum of natural history, an archive, an art and design workshop, a psychological and pedagogical complex , educational laboratories, multimedia classrooms, language laboratories, classrooms with interactive whiteboards; gyms, medical facilities.
