Biography
Born May 14, 1980 in the Altai Territory, in the city of Barnaul. She graduated from BSPU with a degree in physical education teacher and valeologist. Her husband is a judoka Pykhtin Artyom (born 1979). Children: daughter Christina (born 2004) and son Alexander (born 2013).
In childhood, she loved to climb trees and fences with her older brother. At school, physical education was a favorite subject. At the age of 7, her parents wrote down Galina for figure skating , which she did for 2 years. At age 14, she began to practice judo. After 2 months, she fulfilled the norm of a candidate for master of sports , and at 16 she completed the norm of a master of sports. Galina is the first master of sports in the Altai Territory among girls [1] .
