Kruger, Roland

Roland Krueger ( German: Roland Krüger ; born July 17, 1973 , Kassel ) is a German pianist and music teacher.

He studied under Oleg Meisenberg and Karl-Heinz Kemmerling , in 1999-2001. studied in the class of Christian Zimerman at the Basel Conservatory . In 2001, he won the Geneva International Competition .

In 1998 he made his debut with the Concertgebouw Orchestra , in different years he performed with such conductors as Fabio Luisi , Otmar Maga , Mark Sustro , Dennis Russell Davis . He recorded the Twelve Etudes of Claude Debussy , with the cellist Martin Rummel released an album of works by Joseph Merck .

In 2002-2008 taught in Kassel, since 2007 professor at the Hanover Higher School of Music .
