In 2003, he became the champion of Europe in bench press. In 2004, repeated success. In 2005, he added silver for the World Cup to the gold of the European Championship. At the World Championships in 2006 was content with bronze. In 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 becomes the champion of Russia.
