Untamed is the debut studio album of American country singer and author Cam (Camaron Marvel Ochs), released December 11, 2015 at Arista Nashville and RCA Studios. The disc in the first week of release reached No. 2 on the US Country Charts ( Top Country Albums ) and twelfth place in the US Billboard 200 charts with a debut draw of 37,000 copies [4] [5] [6] . The fourth track from the album, the song Burning House became popular, received gold certification [7] and was nominated for a Grammy Award for the best solo country performance [8] .

History
Cam began working on Untamed in 2010, collaborating with Grammy-winning producer and multi-instrumentalist Jeff Basker and Tyler Johnson in songwriting and producing [9] . Jeff Basker is known for his work as a producer with such famous musicians as Bruno Mars , Lana Del Rey and Fun [1] [10] . Cam first composed songs with Tyler Johnson, who worked under the wing of Jeff Basker [9] . The album was released on December 11, 2015 via Arista Nashville and RCA Records. [11] The album received positive reviews from music critics and online publications such as AllMusic [1] , Focus on the 615 [3] , The New York Times , Rolling Stone Country, The Washington Post , Brooklyn Magazine, Renowned for Sound, Entertainment Weekly , Associated Press [6] . Rolling Stone magazine named it one of the best country albums of 2015 and included it in its list of “40 Best Country Albums of 2015” at position No. 15 [12] .
