Kongakut River ( Eng. Kongakut River ) - a river in the eastern part of the borough North Slope , Alaska , USA . The length of the river is 177 km.

It originates in the Davidson Mountains (part of the Brooks Range ) in the northeast corner of the state, near the border with the Canadian territory of Yukon . It flows mainly in the north-eastern and northern directions through the territory of the National Arctic Reserve . It falls into the Beaufort Sea [2] .
Translated from Inuit, the name of the river means "deer pond" [1] [3] .
