Crater Description
The nearest neighbors of Sabatier crater are Ganzen crater in the west; the crater of Cannon in the north-northeast; Crater Tayler in the east; the crater of Virchow and Napier in the southeast and the crater Wildt in the southwest. To the east of the crater is located Sea Regional [2] . The selenographic coordinates of the center of the crater are , diameter 9.6 km [3] , depth 1630 m [4] .
The crater Sabatier has a circular cup shape with a small flat bottom section with a diameter of half the diameter of the crater. The shaft is clearly delineated, the inner slope is smooth, with a high albedo . The height of the shaft above the surrounding terrain reaches 370 m [5] , the volume of the crater is approximately 40 km³ [5] . According to morphological features, the crater belongs to the BIO type (by the name of a typical representative of this class - the Bio crater).
