Physico-geographical characteristics
The village is located within the forest-steppe zone of the Ishim Plain , which is part of the West Siberian Plain , at an altitude of about 108 meters above sea level. The relief is flat. The hydrographic network is not developed: there are no rivers and lakes in the vicinity of the settlement [2] . The soils are linguistic chernozems [3] .
The distance to the regional center of the village of Azovo is 14 km, to the regional center of Omsk - 59 km [4] .
History
It was founded as a branch of the Sosnovsky state farm in 1930 [5] . In 1940, the village was transferred from Sosnovsky to the Azov Village Council. In March 1957, Yagodnoye became part of the newly formed Azov state farm [6] .
In 1962, by a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR, the village of the first branch of the Azov state farm was renamed the village of Yagodnoye [7] .
Since 1963 - as part of the Tauride region , since 1992 - as part of the Azov German national region [6] .
