Nikolay Vasilievich Agafonov (June 15, 1947) is a Soviet and Russian football and mini-football coach.

In the USSR Championship, he played in the B class for Torpedo Rubtsovsk (1965-1970) and in the second league for Dynamo Barnaul (1971-1974). ^[one]

Coaching activity began in Rubtsovsk "Torpedo", ^[2] In 1983-1987 - the senior coach of the Tomsk "Manometer" . In 1987-1991 - the second coach in the Sverdlovsk "Uralmash" at Kornee Sperlinga , from July 1991 to August 1992 - the head coach of the team. Then he coached Yekaterinburg mini-football clubs VIZ and Uralmash-M . In 1998-2001, the Uralmash coach was again in the second division. In January 2002, he was invited to the Kuzbass-Dynamo club in Kemerovo , ^[2] but in August, due to a weak team play, he left on his own. ^[3]

Son Denis - a player in futsal, played for the team, who coached the father and the Russian national team .
