The Averkievsky village council was formed in 1924-1925 as part of the Pavlovo-Posad volost of the Bogorodsky district of Moscow province [2] .

In 1926, Averkievsky s / s included 1 settlement - the village of Averkievo [3] .

In 1929, the Averkievsky Village Council became part of the Pavlovo-Posadsky District of the Orekhovo-Zuevsky District of the Moscow Region. Moreover, Alferovsky, Brazunovsky and Dergachevsky s / s were attached to it.

On June 14, 1954, the Malyginsky s / s was attached to the Averkievsky s / s . At the same time, the center of Averkievsky s / s was moved to the village of Semenovo

On June 3, 1959, the Pavlovo-Posadsky district was abolished and the Averkievsky s / s entered the Noginsky district .

On February 1, 1963, the Noginsky district was abolished and the Averkievsky s / s entered the Orekhovo-Zuevsky rural district . January 11, 1965 Averkievsky s / s was returned to the restored Pavlovo-Posad district.

January 28, 1977 the center of Averkievsky s / s was moved to the village of Brazunovo .

February 3, 1994 Averkievsky s / s was transformed into Averkievsky rural district

On February 26, 2003, the Novozagarsky rural district was attached to the Averkievsky rural district [4] .

During the 2004-2005 municipal reform, the Averkievsky rural district ceased to exist as a municipal unit. Moreover, all its settlements were transferred to the rural settlement of Averkievskoye [5] .

November 29, 2006 Averkievsky rural district was excluded from the accounting data of the administrative-territorial and territorial units of the Moscow region [6] .
