Morschwiller-le-Ba ( Fr. Morschwiller-le-Bas ) is a commune in northeastern France in the region of Grand Est [1] (formerly Alsace-Champagne-Ardennes-Lorraine ), Haut-Rhein department , Mulhouse , canton Kingsersmeym [ 2] . Until March 2015, the commune was administratively part of the abolished canton of Mulhouse-Sud (Mulhouse district).

Economy
In 2010, out of 2,216 people of working age (from 15 to 64 years old), 1,703 were economically active , 513 - inactive (an activity rate of 76.9%, in 1999 - 70.2%). Out of 1,703 active able-bodied residents, 1,560 people (798 men and 762 women) worked, 143 were considered unemployed (78 men and 65 women). Among 513 able-bodied inactive citizens, 166 were pupils or students , 196 were retired , and another 151 were inactive for other reasons [8] [9] .
During 2011, there were 1,418 taxable households in the commune , which had a population of 3,428 people. At the same time, the median income amounted to 23080 euros per taxpayer [10] .
