Joselain Santos ( port. Joselane Rodrigues dos Santos ; born July 14, 1984 ) is a Brazilian freestyle performing in ski acrobatics . The first Brazilian freestyle artist to take part in the Olympic Games.

Career
Initially, Santos specialized in gymnastics , played for the Brazilian national team internationally.
In 2013 she switched to freestyle and began performing in the discipline of β ski acrobatics β. She made her international debut in December 2013 in Finnish Kuusamo , where she took 19th place, beating three athletes in European Cup competitions.
As part of the World Cup, she made her debut on January 19, 2014 in the American Deere Valley . In the debut start she took 30th place, beating athletes from the USA , Kazakhstan and Belarus . Before the Olympics in Sochi, the Brazilian performed at three starts of the World Cup. Her best result was the 25th place at the stage in Canada, where she was even able to beat the World Championship medalist Olga Volkova .
At the Olympics, Santos became the first Brazilian freestyle artist to compete in the Games. In ski acrobatics competitions Santos fell in both qualification attempts (despite the low complexity of the program) and took the last, 22nd place.
