History

The urban settlement of Vetluga is constituted by the Law of the Nizhny Novgorod Region No. 60-Z of June 15, 2004 “On the Allocation of Municipalities - Cities, Workers' Settlements and Village Councils of the Nizhny Novgorod Region with the Status of Urban, Rural Settlement” ^[3] , the status and boundaries of the municipality are established.
