Biography
Born in Schwabach , Bavaria . He studied at the University of Munich , then at the University of Würzburg . He continued his education in Berlin , met with an ophthalmologist Albrecht von Gref , and then visited the renowned Dr. Karl Arlt eye clinic in Prague . In England, Trollsch studied with Joseph Toynbee and William Wilde . Subsequently, he returned to Wurzburg, where he became a professor. Among his famous students, Friedrich Bezold ( German: Friedrich Bezold ; 1842-1908) and Abram Kuhn ( German: Abraham Kuhn ; 1838-1900).
