The tournament was attended by 24 national mixed teams (composed of two men and two women).
The champion was (the 3rd time in his history) the Scottish team , who won the Swiss national team in the final. The German team won bronze medals, winning the England team in the 3rd place match. [one]
For the first time, the Turkish national team took part in the championship.

Competition Format
Teams are divided into 3 groups (A, B, C) of 8 teams, where they play with each other in a circular system in one circle. Those who took 1st places and 2nd places in groups go directly to the quarter - finals of the playoffs ; also in the quarter finals of the playoffs go the best two of the three teams that took 3rd place in the groups. These eight teams play in the quarter-finals and semi-finals according to the Olympic system , then the winners of the semifinals in the finals play the 1st and 2nd places, the losers in the semifinals play the 3rd and 4th places among themselves.
