Biography
He participated in the last wars of Empress Catherine II with the Turks and Poles . He entered into a conspiracy against Paul I. May 16, 1803 he was promoted to major general and appointed commander of the Cavalier Guard regiment . In this position, he went through all the wars with Napoleon . November 26, 1804 was awarded the Order of St. George 4th grade (No. 1560 according to the list of Grigorovich - Stepanov ).
Commanding the cavalry guard regiment, he led at the head of his brilliant attack near Austerlitz , enabling the guard to retreat. The regiment lost 15 officers and 200 privates during the attack. February 24, 1806 awarded the Order of St. George 3rd class Number 135

Depreradovich participated in all the main battles of the campaign of 1806-1807 .
In 1810, he was appointed commander of the 1st cuirassier division , which was part of the 5th reserve (guard) corps of Tsarevich Konstantin Pavlovich as part of the 1st Western Army at the beginning of the Patriotic War of 1812 [2] . In this capacity, Depreradovich participated in the Patriotic War of 1812 and foreign campaigns . August 30, 1813 promoted to the rank of lieutenant general .
Depreradovich was especially distinguished in the battles of Kulm and Fer-Champenoise . Under Fer-Champenoise his actions decided the outcome of the battle.
From 1821 to 1839 he commanded the 1st reserve cavalry (later - the guard ) corps . On July 22, 1819 he was granted the rank of Adjutant General and on August 26, 1826 he was promoted to the rank of general from the cavalry . At the end of life, it was practically deaf.
Family
He married Natalya Pavlovna Aledinskaya (1778-1862), the daughter of a college adviser. Children:

Rewards
- Russian awards: orders of St. Alexander Nevsky with diamonds, St. George 3rd (No. 135, February 24, 1806) and 4th (No. 1560; November 26, 1804) classes, St. Vladimir 1st degree, St. Anna 1st degree, was the honorary commander of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem and had the distinction "for XLV years of immaculate service."
- He was awarded (March 13, 1814) a gold sword “For Courage” with diamonds [3] .

- He had foreign orders: the Austrian Military Order of Maria Theresa of the 3rd degree, the Prussian Order of the Red Eagle of the 1st degree and the Kulm Cross (common name for the insignia of the Prussian Military Order of the Iron Cross) Bavarian Military Order of Maximilian Joseph [4] .
