Giovanni Malpagini known as Giovanni da Ravenna ( Italian: Giovanni Malpaghini ; circa 1346, Ravenna - circa 1417, Florence ) - Italian humanist of the late XIV - early XV centuries.

From 1364 to 1368 - a student of Francesco Petrarch , he served as his secretary and scribe. In some of his letters, Petrarch warmly praised a young student full of intellectual and moral qualities.
Later, he taught Latin in Padua , was a professor of rhetoric , grammar and literature in Florence and one of the earliest Renaissance figures in this city. Among his students is Guarino da Verona .
D. Malpagini was mixed for a long time with Giovanni Conversini and attributed to him his works.
