Biography
Kadwal was the son of Kangan ap Maig ap Kinlas in the Harlean genealogies, the son of Maig ap Ovain ap Kinlas , according to en: Genealogies from Jesus College MS 20 , or the son of Aeddan ap Maig [1] .
Between 613 and 616 [2] , ельthelfrith , ruler of Northumbria , attacked the Britons and defeated them at the Battle of Chester , in which many rulers of the Britons were killed, including the ruler of Rosa, Cadwal Chrisban, who is probably known in the Annals of Tigernach under the name Ketula Rex [3] .
Probably after his death he was succeeded by his son Idgwin .
