Rice, Peter

Peter Ries ( German: Peter Rieß , June 27, 1805 - October 23, 1883 ) - German physicist , member of the Berlin Academy of Sciences since 1842 . His works at first, on magnetism in general and terrestrial magnetism in particular, were mainly published in Pogg.
