Biography

  • Gennady Alexandrovich Zhilin was born on August 11, 1946 in the village of Shutkino Berezovsky (from 1945/1954 Shutkin [1] ) of the village council of the Kargapolsky district of the Kurgan region . Now the village is part of the Zauralsky village council of the same region.
  • In 1962 - 1963 studied at the school of Federal Law No. 17 of Chelyabinsk .
  • In 1963 - 1964 worked as an electrician at the Central Design Bureau for Rims, Chelyabinsk.
  • In 1964 - 1965 worked as an electrician in the Olkhov branch of "Agricultural equipment", Shadrinsky district of the Kurgan region.
  • In 1965 he worked as a linear electrician of the Shadrinsky electric networks, Kurgan region.
  • In 1965 - 1968 served in the Soviet Army .
  • In 1972 he graduated from the Sverdlovsk Law Institute .

Gennady Alexandrovich - Doctor of Law , Professor of the Department of Civil, Arbitration and Administrative Procedure Law of the Russian Academy of Justice . He teaches at the Law Faculty of the Russian Law Academy of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation . He speaks German.

The main area of ​​scientific activity is civil and arbitration procedural law, in particular the protection of human rights in the field of civil and constitutional jurisdiction. He first conducted a comprehensive study of the objectives of civil proceedings and the features of their optimal implementation, defined the legal categories characterizing the target orientation of the subjects of the process, formulated procedural tasks and goals that reveal their essence, the nature of the interaction in the procedural and legal mechanism and the relationship between the goals of justice in various courts exercising protection of rights.

G. A. Zhilin is the only judge of the Constitutional Court of Russia, who was challenged by the representative of one of the parties (the President of the Russian Federation ) in the history of this justice body (however, the challenge was dismissed by the Constitutional Court). This happened on October 25, 2012 at a meeting in the Constitutional Court on the verification of presidential amendments to the Code of Civil Procedure, which legitimized the consideration of private complaints of citizens without notifying the participants in the process [2] .
