Biography
A graduate of the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg , after graduation he worked in the clinic of Professor V. A. Manasein . In 1887 he received the title of privat-docent and began to give lectures on internal medicine and balneology at the medical academy.
In 1898, together with other specialists, he organized the First All-Russian Balneological Congress in St. Petersburg , in 1903 he chaired the second such congress in Pyatigorsk .
The author of a number of scientific publications, among them: “Materials on the importance of bronchial bleeding in the etiology of pulmonary diseases” (St. Petersburg, 1884); "Modern doctrine of pulmonary consumption" (St. Petersburg, 1892) and others.
Died in New Simeiz. He was buried at the Mitrofanievsky cemetery in St. Petersburg [1]
