Content
History
It was founded as a German colony in 1864 . Named by royal name. The founders are factory workers from Poland and immigrants from the Black Sea . The village belonged to the Lutheran parish of Samara. Part of the inhabitants were Catholics and Baptists . It was part of the Konstantinovsky colonial district, later the Konstantinovsky volost of the Samara district of the Samara province [3] .
In the Soviet period, as part of the Koshkinsky district of the Samara (Kuibyshev) region. In 1926, the village had an elementary school, a village council. During the period of collectivization, a collective farm named after Telman was organized [3] .
On August 28, 1941, a Decree of the Presidium of the USSR Armed Forces on the resettlement of Germans living in the Volga region was issued. The German population was deported .
Physico-geographical characteristics
The village is located in the Volga region , stretched along the right bank of the Yumratka River (a tributary of the Big Cheremshan ). Opposite is the village of Malaya Romanovka [4] . The relief is gently sloping. Soils are chernozems [5] .
By road, the distance to the regional center of the village of Koshki is 15 km, to the regional center of Samara - 150 km.
