Geography
Shmanaevo is located in the east of the region, near the border with Kolomenskoye , on a nameless stream of the Osёnka river basin (a tributary of the Severka river), the height of the village center above sea level is 158 m [2] . The nearest settlements are Myakinino - about 1 km to the south, Ivanteevo in 1, km to the south-west and Subbotovo , Kolomna district, 1 km to the southeast, the passenger platform of the Shubatovo Big Ring of the Moscow Railway is located in the village.

In 2015, Shmanaevo is, in fact, a holiday village: with 8 inhabitants in the village of 3 streets 2 lanes [6] , it was first mentioned in 1577 as the village of Oshmanayeva [2] .
