Biography

He was born on March 11, 1904 in the family of a priest in the church of the village of Stanovo, Ilovensky volost, Mologsky district.

Studied at a female gymnasium. In 1920 she joined the Komsomol. In 1921-1923 he served in the OGPU , a participant in the Civil War in the Far East. After demobilization, she worked at the workers' factories.

In 1925-1929 she studied at the MVTU named after N. E. Bauman , at the same time she worked in the Bureau of Technical Standards as a technician, design engineer. Since the beginning of the 1930s, an associate professor at MVTU named after N. E. Bauman and Stankin (Department of High-Efficiency Processing Technologies).

Since 1935, a member and head. sector of technical standards, since 1940 deputy. Chairman of the technical council of NKTP.

In 1936 she headed the Commission on metal cutting at the Supreme Economic Council of the USSR . She led the development of a database on the machinability of various structural materials in different conditions, which became the basis of state standards for cutting conditions.

The first director of the VNII tool, created in 1943.

She taught at Stankin , an industrial academy, from 1957 to 1963 - head of the department "Engineering Technology" of the Moscow Institute of Mechanical Engineering [1] . Doctor of Technical Sciences (1955), Professor (1956).

She died on November 3, 1967 . She was buried in Moscow at the Vvedensky cemetery .
