Biography

Born on November 4, 1935 .

Since 1957 - actor of the Ivan Franko Theater in Kiev. The founder of the theater, Gnat Yura, invited Mikhail Kramara from the Frankivsk company. Many interesting roles were born in the collaboration of Mikhail Kramar with Sergey Danchenko, Irina Molostova, Vladimir Ogloblin, Peter Ilchenko, Valentin Kozmenko-Delinde and other directors.

The film “Matchmaking on Goncharovka” became legendary in the actor’s creative biography (Stetska, in Kramara’s interpretation, has been loved by viewers for several generations).

Almost until the last moment, the actor continued to play on his native stage (there was one entry in the Kramara employment record: in 1957, he was accepted into the Ivan Franko Theater). Mikhail Polikarpovich played the role of the owner of the restaurant in “Kina IV” and Berlioz in “The Master and Margarita” brilliantly, demonstrating his enchanting talent and artistry. Kramar’s credo: “There are no small roles, but there are great actors.”

Colleagues called Mikhail Polikarpovich "a superpartner, a solar man and a theater mascot." The actor had a special gift - a subtle sense of humor. When Kramar appeared in the theater, smiles appeared on the faces of all Frankovites. The news of the death of the actor shocked. It is very difficult to believe that his deep laugh will never again sound and Mikhail Polikarpovich will not come on the scene, but the memory of the master will remain in the hearts of all who love theater.

For almost half a century, Kramar has created a gallery of interesting and diverse roles. Today, Mikhail Polikarpovich is rightly called the luminer-frankovets, and the images born of the talent and skill of a famous actor have already become classics of the Ukrainian theater.

He died on August 26, 2008 after a long illness in Kiev. He was buried at the Baikovo Cemetery [2] .
