Biography
Born December 1, 1920 in Kiev (now Ukraine ). He studied at the Moscow secondary art school (1939-1940). Member of World War II. Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after V. I. Surikova (1951; workshop of V. P. Efanov and K. M. Maximov . Author of mainly genre paintings and compositional portraits. Member of Moscow Artists Union since 1951. Participant in art exhibitions since 1944. The artist’s works are in many museums in Russia, in private collections at home and abroad.
He died in 2000 .

- Stalin Prize of the third degree (1952) - for the painting "Meeting of the Presidium of the USSR Academy of Sciences" and for a series of portraits of Soviet scientists (together with co-authors)
