Story

A boy named Alyosha from the magazine learns about the girl Tayane, who lives in the North. After that, he dreams of visiting the North and seeing reindeers. At this time, the first snow falls, and the boy, together with a neighbor's girl, run out into the street. Alyosha sculpts a deer out of the snow, which the girlfriend laughs at, as the first snow always melts quickly. He goes home, and late in the evening, looking out the window, he notices that the deer has suddenly come to life. There should be no end to joy, but the boy understands that there will be nothing from a new friend in the morning, and then decides to desperately - take the fawn to distant cold lands. Using a compass, Alyosha and his new friend Oleshka reach the North. They need to find Tayane, but this problem is quickly resolved thanks to seals. Friends find the girl's yaranga, get acquainted with her and her father, and Alyosha explains the reason for her arrival. Oleshka is left with Tayane so that he does not melt in the boy before winter. Alyosha asks to come visit with a deer when real winter comes, and he flies away by helicopter. At home, Alyosha, seeing from the window a neighbor's girl stumbling into a puddle, hears her laugh, who had no idea where the deer had actually disappeared. Now the boy is quietly waiting for the beginning of this winter.
