The Basilica of St. Emmeram (Slovak. Bazilika svätého Emeráma) is a cathedral in Nitra , built in the Gothic style . The cathedral is part of the Nitran castle complex . The upper church dates from 1333 - 1355. In the rotunda of the 11th-12th centuries there is a silver shrine of 1674. On the territory of the castle there is also a relic - the relics of St. Cyril. The lower church is built in the Baroque style dates from 1621 - 1642.
